There is an urgent need to provide new purpose built structures in some of the poorest countries around the world, where most of the rural population live on less than a dollar a day.

 

We will only commit to the building of structures that require input from external sources which could not otherwise go ahead without your personal involvement and support. Together we work in partnership to meet the needs of the community and to deliver the project they have asked for.

 

Primarily, communities in developing countries need our help to enable them to help themselves. They need help that is focused on long-term benefit to the community, where the benefit to those who help must always remain a blessing, not an objective.

 

All who choose to join us will experience the same excitement the community enjoys when foreign guests work alongside their hosts in a common enterprise. We believe the experiences and insights you will gain by living and working alongside the local community will also prove enormously beneficial to your own personal development.

The Directors

 

The company was founded by David Harbour and Paul Wylie when they found themselves sitting in the swirling mist on Crib Goch, Snowdonia in 2007. Together they have over 10 years experience of living in developing countries and working with local communities and volunteer organisations around the world. While managing a diverse range of community projects they have seen the positive impact that can result from outside involvement and support.

David has project managed for Raleigh International in Namibia; been a Country Director for Madventurer in Ghana; run overland trips to Timbuktu, West Africa and worked as the Operations Manager for The Exploration Company, developing worldwide expeditions for school groups.

Paul worked for three years leading overland expeditions around the world before spending a year in Mongolia as Logistics Manager for Raleigh International. He later qualified as a Paramedic and has since worked as a Project Manager for Raleigh International in Borneo.
